One day, everyone in the village rumored that the children should not leave the house. The schools were closed, because it was said that a monster was walking outside, and that it would not take long to reach that place.
In the news it was reported that, from a distant country, that animal, which was a giant monster, had been traveling from east to west, but that no one could see it. The cruel and ruthless beast, they said, emerged in one of the cities of the Asian continent, Microbes, and later spread to other continents.
Through the flow of migration, tourism or trade, just as it happened with other pandemics throughout the world in different eras of human history. At all times it has been like this, people travel all over the world from one place to another. That is why the ruthless monster did not take long to reach the most remote places on planet Earth.
For that reason, it only took three months for people to realize that more and more were getting this virus. As then it was known that it was called coronavirus, It seemed to have tiny crowns around it, adding alarming numbers of sick people and deaths.
So they had to close government offices, shops, restaurants, schools, and borders, until they saw that all the cities and towns of the world were left desolate. Since it was proclaimed that the monster was outside, and that people should not go out for any reason, not even to the parks, because they would be bitten by that merciless beast. There they had all the children, adults and elderly took refuge in their homes.
In the 2020’s, almost all economic and social activities were paralyzed, thereby safeguarding the health of all people in all parts of the world.
The frightened children at home practicing exhaustive hygiene, so that this large litmus-colored animal, as some imagined it to be, could not even enter through the crack of the door of their house. Everyone expected the pest exterminators to finish off the monster.
According to them, they said that they would combat it with all the regulated preventive health measures. But it was not like that, since still in the seventh month after that beast appeared, they had not even been able to invent a cure or vaccine to eradicate it.
Today, researchers are still working on it, and waiting to stop the contingency around the world. That remains to be seen, as they said at the beginning, when the coronavirus (Covid-19) spread. They will see how it evolves. But yes, I think all the people became cleaner.
Damn monster, don’t bother me anymore! Let us lead our normal lives, locked up, we don’t want to be anymore.
