You’re Not My Kevin

Kevin’s mother, she had been wanting to buy her son some pants for weeks, but she wanted to take him to the store to try them on and choose the one he liked the most. So they planned a day to go to the store. When the day came, they left home around 10:00 in the morning. They both went to the department store where they would buy the pants for Kevin, because he really needed them urgently.

When mom and son got to the store, they first located the children’s department where Kevin and his mom could find some nice pants tailored for him. Already being in the area, between the two they began to look for the clothes to Kevin’s taste, in size and style.

In that same area, another woman was also walking with her son, buying him some pants. And it just so happens that the boy was also called Kevin. As things progressed, the two boys went to the changing rooms to try on the pants of their choice, but since they tried on different clothes, each one went to and from their respective changing rooms.

During that time, Kevin’s mom went to look at some bags in another area of the store. While the other mother stayed outside and went to the fitting room to wait for her son. Kevin was already wearing the new pants, when suddenly he heard a voice that asked him: -Kevin, did the pants fit you? -, -Do you like them?-.

At that very moment Kevin opened the dressing room door saying: yes, I like them!; and what would be the surprise, when he opened the door of the dressing room, he met the other lady who was not his mother. And vice versa, the lady looked at Kevin and immediately surprised said: -Oh, you’re not my Kevin! -.

They both started laughing and a little embarrassed they continued shopping.

No eres mí Kevin

La madre de Kevin, llevaba semanas queriendo comprar unos pantalones a su hijo, pero quería llevarlo a la tienda para que se los probara y escogiera el que más le gustara. Así que, planearon un día para ir a la tienda. Cuando se llegó el día, salieron de casa alrededor de las 10:00 de la mañana, ambos se dirigían a la tienda departamental dónde comprarían los pantalones para Kevin, pues él realmente los necesitaba con urgencia.

Cuando mamá e hijo llegaron a la tienda, localizaron primero el departamento de niños en donde Kevin y su mamá podrían encontrar unos lindos pantalones adaptados a él. Ya estando en el área, entre los dos comenzaron a buscar las prendas al gusto de Kevin, en talla y estilo.

En esa misma zona, otra mujer también caminaba con su hijo, comprándole unos pantalones. Y da la coincidencia que el chico también se llamaba Kevin. Conforme avanzaban las cosas, los dos chicos iban a los probadores a probarse los pantalones de su gusto, pero como se probaban diferentes prendas, cada uno iba y venía de sus respectivos probadores.

En ese lapso de tiempo, la mamá de Kevin fue a mirar unas bolsas en otra área de la tienda. Mientras que la otra mamá se quedó ahí afuera y se acercó al probador a esperar a su hijo. Kevin ya tenía puesto el pantalón nuevo, cuando de repente escuchó una voz que le preguntó: -Kevin, ¿te quedó el pantalón?-, -¿te gustan?-.

En ese mismo momento Kevin abrió la puerta del camerino diciendo: ¡sí, me gustan!; y cuál sería la sorpresa, cuando abrió la puerta del vestidor, se encontró con la otra señora que no era su madre. Y viceversa, la señora miró a Kevin y sorprendida inmediatamente le dijo: -Oh, ¡tú no eres mi Kevin! -.

Ambos empezaron a reírse y un poco avergonzados, siguieron de compras.
