The Good and Bad

In a very beautiful town, like those places taken from fairy tales, lived two very different women in their way of thinking, relating to people and even how they dressed. Although both were dreamers, each had a great impetus what characterized them.

One of them, with her elegant demeanor, always wanted the best for everyone. The other, on the other hand, was a poorly dressed person with all the anger inside her, that was reflected on her face. As if she had suffered something not very pleasant in her life.

They worked in the same place, as well as with other people. The good woman always made that bad woman see her mistakes, but since the bad woman didn’t like being corrected, she always got upset. She spent time doing evil to whoever she wanted, because the evil one felt she had a lot of power.

One day, the wicked witch put a spell on the good woman, Rosalia. The innocent woman fell ill, to the point of having to go to be cured with one of the spiritual healers. Who, through supernatural rituals, remove evil from the body of bewitched people.

When the helpless woman was preparing for the meeting with the spiritual healer, she made an appointment for a Friday or Tuesday, since those were the days in which she could get rid of the evil demons, that were stalking the good woman.

Very early on Friday, the afflicted woman attended the Curandera’s house, as well as on Tuesday and Friday of the following week. As that would be the last day for healing session. After the ritual, the spiritual healer handed the woman the artifacts, with which she had cured her, and told her. Look, arriving at your house, light the stove, place on the flames, all the things with which I have cured you with. Also you need to add 10 ears of corn and 40 dried red bird’s beak chilies, and let all that burn.

On Monday when you get to work, you will find out who the bad person was that harmed you, putting a spell on a food or a drink that she herself gave you.

Thus, that Monday, the bad woman called Rosalia to her presence, and what would be the surprise of the good woman, who saw her boss with red eyes, it seemed as if she had seen the same angry demon with a desire to continue hurting whoever gets in her way.

The spiritual healer says, “that evil returns and that is why the bad woman had red eyes, as if the chili had caused the redness. The curious thing was that the good woman did not perceive the aroma of the hot chili, at the moment in which she burned everything that had been used to remove the evil”.

The good lady recovered and did not want to work in that place anymore, because of what she had experienced with that bad person.

Rosalía dedicated herself to taking care of her children, she took them to school, and taking care of her house. She forgot that nightmare and lived very happily with her three children.
